There have been a few changes in plumbing codes over the years and we keep our customers aware of the safety issues that can arise in old plumbing systems.  One such case is the change in the code concerning pressure balance faucets.  The old three handle shower facets did not include mixers that kept that water from freezing you and then scorching you in the shower.  If you've ever been in the shower and suddenly had the temperature drastically change when others in the home utilize the plumbing system, then you know what we are talking about.  The good news is that just because you have a three handle faucet doesn't mean that you have to completely remodel your bathroom to convert it over to a pressure balanced faucet. With a conversion kit and skilled plumber you can enjoy even-temperature showers.
