At Universal Plumbing & Sewer, Inc., we are committed to delivering exceptional service with integrity and care. We treat every client and team member with the kindness, respect, and dignity they deserve—just as we would our own family. Our goal is to provide comprehensive solutions, educate our customers, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every job. Serving our community is not just our profession; it's our honor and pride.

HONEST

We offer free phone estimates. Hidden and extra charges are not how we do business.  No last-minute trip charges, per-foot charges or “because we have to go in your basement” charges will be added to your bill.  We believe in treating our customers as we would want to be treated. 99% of the time the price you are given over the phone is the amount at the bottom of your invoice.

HIGH QUALITY

Fully licensed and insured, we use top-of-the-line machines to properly diagnose and treat even your toughest plumbing problems.

EXPERIENCED

Our experienced service technicians and equipment allow us to provide you with the five-star treatment you deserve.

FAST

In most cases, we can have a licensed plumbing service tech at your door the same day.

CLEAN

We value your business and go out of our way to keep your house clean by laying down tarps, wearing shoe coverings and leaving our work area cleaner than when we found it.

RELIABLE

Our plumbing and drain services are available 24 hours a day.  When you call, we answer.

Universal Plumbing & Sewer was started by Les and Carol Nelson in 2004 out of their home in Warren, Michigan. Les and Carol moved to Clinton Township in 2011 and moved Universal Plumbing to a shop located on Starks Drive across from the Clinton Township court building. In 2019 Universal Plumbing & Sewer bought the old CCF collision shop located at 35640 Gratiot Ave. The new shop allowed them to store plenty of material to keep their trucks fully stocked, in order to offer their customers the most efficient service possible. Both the business and their family have grown abundantly in the past fourteen years. Universal Plumbing now has over 40 employees, and Les and Carol have four children. The business has grown by diligently striving to maintain the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
